Bio

"CAROLINE NEVEJAN is an independent researcher and designer with a focus on the implications of technology on society. Nevejan is advisor to the Institute of Computer Science of the Hogeschool of Amsterdam, research associate to Performing Arts Labs(UK) and since 2007 a member of the Dutch National Council for Culture and the Arts.

"My research interest is focused on the design of presence and the design of trust in social interactions between people, in organizations and in larger social and political structures. I use methodologies from the social sciences as well as from the design discipline. Having a profound theoretical interest I find it a challenge to bridge scientific insight into other domains. When 'making things happen' in a design process I am convinced this only works when people involved contribute." (http://www.xs4all.nl/~nevejan/)
